SF Chronicle Editor Gives a Nod to Spot.Us

With his blog “Editor at Large” Phil Bronstein has done a special video on homelessness in San Francisco.

This is an issue we’ve tackled along with KALW and their fantastic reporter Thea Chroman. Her reporting must have made an impression as they invited Thea in to discuss some of what she has learned.

Then, in our video, we interview Thea Chroman, a reporter for KALW radio who did her own homeless broadcast story through another SF media start-up Spot.Us.

Thea or no, the video SF Gate produced is actually pretty good. I give kudos to Bronstein for tackling it himself. And of course – I am always excited when Spot.Us reporters who do good work get recongition for it (part of a growing list!).
