Independent Journalists – How to Raise Your Own Income

The job description for journalists is changing. Both the skill-set and the mind-set.

Part of it is learning to be independent. As the institutions that used to support journalists dwindle – we need to learn how to create our own income. Spot.Us is exploring how journalists can crowdfund their wage. This is new territory and we will be learning along the way – but here are some organized thoughts so far.
